Likely there wasn't on the seas of Europe, during the second half of the 600 most famous ship and " important" thant the Royal Sovereign. Commissioned by King Charles I of England , designed by shipbuilder Peter Pett, the Royal Sovereign was to be the largest ship in the world, so much so that the authorities of the Navy expressed an opinion unfavorable to its realization. The ship was also built and launched in 1637 and had an exceptionally long life reaching the age of sixty years. The rigs were three trees: the foremast with square sails and teache , mizzen sail with mixed Latin and square. The two main shafts were four sails,  lower sails, cages. The mizzen mast had , in addition to Latin sail two square sails at the top , as had the French Soleil Royal of 1669 and the Swedish Wasa 1627. A bow, on the bowsprit , there were two sails.
